Frances Switkes, 94, of New Haven, died June 7. She was the widow of Harold Switkes. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Anna (Hyatt) Drutman. She is survived by her children, Susan Switkes Cohen (Dr. Ivan Cohen) of Westport, and Cathy Switkes Cooley (Erik Cooley) of Delmar, N.Y.; her sister, Cecle (Josef) Adler; her grandchildren, Hillary and Clayton McCraw, Peter and Jenna Cooley, Kevin, Andrew and David Cohen; and many nieces and nephews.
