Frieda Kaplan, 97 of West Hartford, formerly of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., died June 17. She was the widow of Isaac Kaplan. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Bella Kleiman and Ida Dyen. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Sidewater and her husband Jeffrey, and Natalie Walker and her husband Larry; her grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jessica Sylvan, Jason Mathison and Nicole Frankenberg; her great-grandchildren, Abby, Nicholas and Grant; and a niece and nephew.
