Marcia (Granoff) Kalafa, 83, of West Hartford, died June 15. She was the wife of Joel Arnold Kalafa. Born in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Sadie (Meisel) and David Granoff. She was also predeceased by her sister, Ethel Dembe. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister Francis Ratner of El Cerrito, Calif.; her children, Amy Kalafa and her husband Alex Gunuey of Weston, and David Kalafa and his wife Carmela Cortese of Middletown; her grandchildren, Nicole Watson of Middletown, Sadie Gunuey Wylie and her husband Marco Wylie of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Emma Gunuey of Providence, RI; and several nieces and their families.
