Eugene Freilich of Plainview, N.Y., died May 30. He was the husband of Clairlilla. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Max and Esther Freilich. He served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Debbie Stern of Plainview, N.Y., Lauren Gultz of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Martin Freilich and his wife Sharon of West Hartford; his grandchildren, Scott (Laura), Gary, Steven, David, Melissa, Michael and Eli; and his great-granddaughter Evelyn. He was also predeceased by his brother, Bernard Freilich.
