Philip Berkowitz passed away on his 50th birthday, June 2, 2015 in Melbourne, Fla.  A Norwalk native, he was a son of the late Solomon and Betty Berkowitz. Philip was an RF engineer for HBO. A lifelong electronics enthusiast, Philip was an avid Ham Radio operator, call sign WX1CT. Philip was the founder of the website www.norwalkweather.com. Mr. Berkowitz is survived by his beloved wife Leigh, and by his older brothers, Leon of Norwalk and Mark of New York. Services were held on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Congregation Beth El in Norwalk, with interment at the Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, N.J.
