Arlene (Stein) Goldstein, 69, of East Haven, died April 28. She was the widow of Dr. Melvin G. Goldstein. Born in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Alex and Fannie (Harris) Stein. She is survived by her children, Laura Goldstein and her husband Steven Vine, of Newtown, and Melodie Foster of N.Y.; her brother Morton Stein and his wife Leslie of Chicago, Ill.; and her grandson Eric Vine.
