Milford woman wins senior services award

FAIRFIELD – Linda Ciszkowski of Milford, vice president and chief administrative officer of Jewish Senior Services in Fairfield, has been named recipient of the 2015 Association of Jewish Aging Services (AJAS) Professional of the Year Award. The award, presented on Feb. 23 at the AJAS Annual Conference in San Diego, Calif., recognizes an outstanding individual who reflects the highest standards of professional knowledge and expertise, has shown exceptional leadership, and is highly respected by the staff, residents, and families served. AJAS is a national association of not-for-profit community-based organizations.

“Linda has been with Jewish Senior Services for 15 years and is one of the key leaders of JSS and our journey, which embodies the culture change efforts and transition to a new household model of care. She is incredibly passionate about the work she does and reminds us all of why the work we do makes a difference,” commented Andrew H. Banoff, JSS president and CEO. “I am thrilled that she has achieved national recognition for her outstanding efforts.”
