On Yom Hashoah – Holocaust Commemoration Day – eighth-graders at Ezra Academy in Woodbridge took time out from their studies to honor the memory of the six million Jews who were murdered by the Nazis. The students lit six candles, each one representing one million martyred Jews who died.
