Eric Ricky Aronstein of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of Bloomfield, died March 22. He was the husband of Laura Strupp Aronstein. Raised in Germany, he was the son of the late Adele Pollack Aronstein and Paul Aronstein. He was a survivor of Kristallnacht. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant. He was stationed in the South Pacific during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Congregation Tikvoh Chadosha (now B’nai Tikvoh Shalom). In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Gayle Aronstein Lieberman and her husband Robert, and Gary Aronstein and his wife Amy; his grandchildren, Stephen and Lauren Brown; and many cousins.
