Sholom Sussman, 96, of West Hartford, formerly of Mamaroneck and New Rochelle, N.Y., died March 23. He was the husband of Alma Sussman. Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, he was the son of Sarah and Philip Sussman. During World War ll, he served as a captain in the Army, and was stationed in a hospital in England. After retirement. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Yale Sussman; his children, Philip Sussman and his wife Deborah de Winter, David Sussman , Marcia Stone and her husband Robert, and his daughter Sharon Holtzberg and her husband Grant; and his grandchildren, Rachel and Spencer Glantz, Eric Stone, Joshua Holtzberg, Adam Holtzberg, Carolyn Sussman, Jacob Sussman and Rebecca Sussman. He was also pre-deceased by his sister, Sylvia Sussman.
