Alan Emil Schwartz, 76, died Feb. 27 in San Antonio, Tex. He was the husband of Marna Taylor Schwartz. Born in Philadelphia, Penn., he was the son of the late Leo and Anna Altman Schwartz. He was a past member of The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lori Goldman and her husband, Larry, Jeffrey Schwartz and his wife, Marie, and Eric Schwartz and his wife, Sarah; his grandchildren, Scott, Max, Jason, Jane, Sam and Caroline; his sister, Sabra Sutow; and his step-mother, Doris Schwartz.
