Wayne Akerman of South Windsor died March 1. He was the husband of Khaya (Shluper) Akerman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Janna Pichette and her husband, Robert, of Manchester; his grandchildren, Nina and Josh Pichette; and his brother, Gary Akerman of Wolcott.
