FRIDAY, JANUARY 16

Stamford – Shabbat service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King with guest speaker Rabbi Phil Schechter, who was active in the Civil Rights Movement while he was assistant rabbi at Temple Oheb Shalom in Baltimore. He was arrested for trespassing at a segregated amusement park along with an interracial protest group that included Roman Catholic, Protestant and Jewish clergy.
