Henry Katz, 83, of West Hartford, formerly of Fairfield, died Jan. 15. He was the husband of Carrie (Sulzbacher) Katz. Born in Giessen, Germany, he was the son of the late Julius and Bernice (Goldenberg) Katz. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Cheryl Wolmer and her husband Adam of West Hartford, and Alan Katz and his wife Claire of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Joshua and Brandon Wolmer, and Jeremy, Oliver and Hannah Katz.
