Phyllis Strumpf, 76, of Monroe Township, N.J., formerly of Mount Vernon, N.Y. and Milford, died Nov. 30. She was the wife of Manny Strumpf. Born in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Bessie Batist. She was a member of Congregation Beit Shalom in Monroe Twp., N.J., and a former longtime member of Congregation Or Shalom in Orange. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Lori Dritz and her husband Ron of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Jeff Strumpf of Springfield, N.J.; her brothers, Philip Batist and his wife Gertrude, and Lionel Batist; her grandchildren, Scott Dritz, Beth Strumpf and Jennifer Strumpf; and many cousins. She was also predeceased by her sister Harriet Batist in Montreal.
