On Sunday, Dec. 7, JCC Greenwich and PJ Library held their annual Chanukah party at Carmel Academy in Greenwich. More than 130 children and adults attended the event, which featured a special performance by The Great Zucchini, Wash., D.C.’s top entertainer for young children. Among the many activities: At craft tables run by the JCC Greenwich Teen Action Committee, families decorated lunch bags for Israel’s largest food rescue network, which provides lunches for more than 7,500 children daily. The day also included a toy drive to benefit Chai Lifeline, whose mission is to restore the light of childhood to children and families facing pediatric illness.
