FIDLER

Ida Goldstein Fidler, 96, of New Haven, formerly of Hamden and Boca Raton, Fla., died Nov. 29. She was the widow of Bernard Nathan Fidler. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Hodes and Rubin Goldstein. After the death of Rubin Goldstein when she was three years old, she was raised by Abraham Kravitz. She was a member of the Beth Hamedrosh/Westville Synagogue in New Haven. She is survived by her sons, Richard A. Fidler and his wife, Diane, of West Haven, and Mark R. Fidler and his wife, Lynn, of Oracle, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Valerie L. Solli of Milford, Kate Fidler of New York City, Brian N. Fidler of West Haven, and Scott Fidler of Miami, Fla.; her great-granddaughter, Rhianna R. Solli; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother, Theodore Kravitz. ROBERT E.
