Joseph Abkowicz, 91, of West Hartford, formerly of Poland and Russia, died Nov. 10. He was the husband of Liza Abkowicz. He was the son of the late Abraham and Hannah Abkowicz. He was a Holocaust survivor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Nelly Abkowicz of West Hartford; a niece and nephew. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Peril, Malka, Moner and Leon. WEINSTEIN MORTUARY
