Rabbi Joshua Hammerman

Rabbi Joshua Hammerman, of Temple Beth El in Stamford, took a moment to blow the shofar, as he marched with 300,000 people from around the world who clogged the streets of New York City on Sunday, Sept. 21, to take part in the People’s Climate March. The march – a ‘call-to-action’ to combat the effects of climate change on the planet – took place two days before heads of state were set to gather at the UN for an historic summit on the issue.
