On Tuesday, Oct. 7, Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball will take on the New York Nets in Brooklyn. And when they do, 15 Israel Defense Forces soldiers wounded in the line of duty will be courtside – thanks to the joint efforts of Maccabi USA, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi World Union and along with the Friends of IDF. The group will also host a pre-game reception at the Barclay Center beginning at 5:30 p.m., with basketball legends Tal Brody, Mickey Berkowitz, Doron Jamchy, Dolph and Danny Schayes, as well as some of the wounded soldiers.
