Nelson Arnold Comen, 85, of West Haven, died August 25. He was the husband of Eleanor “Ellie” (Schancupp) Comen. He was the son of the late Carl and Nettie (Aronson) Comen. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children,  Shelley Champagne and her husband Richard of Orange and Geri Comen Guerra of Bethany; his grandchildren, Tyler, Colby, Samuel, Caleigh and Grayson.
