Rosh Hashanah? It’s all in the Bag

rosh hashanahWEST HARTFORD – Everything a family needs for a festive Jewish new year celebration is in the bag – the “Rosh Hashanah Bag,” that is. Filled with candles, candlesticks, wine, a kiddush cup, kosher honey from The Bee Happy Company in Clinton, a voucher for a traditional round challah from The Crown Market, crafts for the kids, and more, the free recycled bag will be available for pick up at the Whole Foods Blue Back Square Farmers Market on Raymond Road in West Hartford on Monday, Sept. 15, 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. The bag is free of charge – but families need to register in advance at www.myjewishhartford.org.

Rosh Hashanah in a Bag is a program of MyJewishHartford.org, a Big Tent Judaism Initiative funded by the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford and administered by the Mandell JCC and the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford.
