ROSENBLATT

Joel E. Rosenblatt, D.D.S., 74, of Jupiter, Fla. formerly of Bloomfield, Conn., died Sunday, August 3 after a brief illness. Born in Hartford, Conn., he graduated from the Mount Hermon School, from Brandeis University with a B.A. in psychology, and with a D.D.S. from New York University School of Dentistry. Honored for his dedication to Beth Hillel Synagogue and community, he founded its nursery school and chaired the Board of Education and Adult Education committees. He was also president of Jewish Children’s Service Organization. He leaves his beloved wife of 52 years, Adrienne (Udis) Rosenblatt; his daughter Julie Zieff and husband Eric of Beverly, Mass.; his son Lenny Rosenblatt and husband Kofi Kyeremateng of Rahway, N.J.; his grandchildren Matthew and Emily Zieff; and his sister Susan Newman and her husband Mickey of Evanston, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brandeis National Committee’s “Sustaining the Mind Campaign for Scientific Research” at Brandeis University, P.O.
