Ben Marks, 100, of Aventura, Fla., formerly of New Haven, died August 8. He was the widower of Ruth Marks. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he served in the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer during World War II. He is survived by his daughters, Lynne Marks and Laura Weinstein; his grandchildren, Brett Weinstein and Kara Morrow; his great-granddaughter, Maia Weinstein; his brother, Martin Marks; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
