The July 23 Fairfield County Rally for Solidarity, Security and Peace in Israel, co-sponsored by Jewish organizations and synagogues throughout the region, drew hundreds of community members to the Stamford JCC. Speakers included Stamford mayor David R. Martin; staffers of Connecticut Congressional delegation-members, Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, and Rep. Jim Himes; and Mark Langfan, chairman of Americans for a Safe Israel.
