Calvin Mass, D.D.S., 96, of West Hartford, died June 13. He was the husband of the late Helen (Shlaifer) Mass. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Louis and Rose (Gold) Mass. He served as a captain in the United States Army Air Force Dental Corps in World War II. He is survived by his son, Dr. Martin Mass and his wife Jill of South Glastonbury; his daughter, Nan Kristt of Monticello, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Noah Mass and his wife Nicole, Gabriel Mass, Dara Hebert and her husband Thomas, and Eric Kristt; and his great-granddaughter, Sophia Mass. He was predeceased by his brothers, Samuel Mass and Sidney Mass, and by his sister, Elizabeth Lewis. WEINSTEIN MORTUARY
