Edward Louis Friedman, z”l, 87, of West Hartford, died June 19. He was the husband of Esia (Shoag Baran) Friedman. Born in Meriden, he was the son of the late Isidore and Esther (Rock) Friedman. He was a U.S Army veteran of World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Dr. Barry David Friedman, and Rabbi Cary Alan Friedman and his wife Marsha; his grandchildren, Rabbi Elisha (and Yamit Remz), Adina, Ayelet (and Jeremy Koolyk), Akiva, Elisheva and Yehudit.
