Seymour Benson, 86, of Bloomfield, formerly of West Hartford, died April 9. He was the husband of Marilyn (Kosoff) Benson and the widower of Rosalyn (Schwartzberg) Benson. He was the son of Louis and Sarah (Neleber) Benson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Joy Gerber of Hopkinton, Mass., Peter Epstine and his wife JoAnn of Escondido, Calif., Brad Epstine of Farmington, Michael Benson of Lakewood, N.J. and Ruth Brown and her husband Marc of Cranford, N.J.; his grandchildren, David and Liza Gerber, Jonathan and Leslie Gerber, Haley and Shelby Epstine, and Zachary and Jessica Brown; his great-grandchildren, Benjamin Fink, Chloe, Ryan, and Lily Gerber and Caroline and James Gerber; and several nephews.
