On Sunday evening April 6 The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford kicked off its 95th Anniversary celebration. Its theme was one of the synagogue’s core values, “Tikkun Olam, Repairing the World.” In this picture (left to right) are FoxCT meteorologist Rachel Frank, MC for the evening, event co-chairs Judy Mooney and Sally Henowitz, honoree Gloria McAdam, CEO of Foodshare and keynote speaker Seth Waxman, West Hartford native and former Solicitor General of the United States. Also honored were Risa Davidson and Janet Wallans, who co-chair the synagogue’s B’Yadeynu (Social Action) committee.
