Helen (Rakoszynski) Breitowitz, 92, of Rockville, Md., formerly of West Hartford, died at her home March 4. She was the widow of David Breitowitz. Born in Sosnowich, Poland, she and her husband spent World War II together in Siberia and then immigrated to America after the war. She worked as a seamstress and was a member of Young Israel of West Hartford. She is survived by two sons, Yitzchak and his wife, Sally, and Eliezer and his wife, Anita; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
