Nathan Lappin, 96, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Jan. 19. He was the widower of the late Sylvia (Padovitz) Lappin and the late Erika (Keeland) Lappin. Born in Boston, Mass., he was the son of Morris and Edith (Schwartz) Lappin. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his daughters, Maxine Jaffe of Manchester, and Jayne Counterman of Cohoes, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Louis Jaffe and his wife Lara Oboler of New York, N.Y., Marjorie and her husband Bruce Goldner of New York, N.Y., Roseanna Counterman of Albany, N.Y., and Emily and her husband Najib Akbari of Cohoes, N.Y.; and seven great-grandchildren.
