NEW YORK, N.Y. – Slingshot is now accepting applications for its 10th annual guide to North America’s top 50 innovative Jewish organizations. Nonprofits engaged in the Jewish community are invited to submit applications online through Jan. 24.
The Slingshot Guide has become a go-to resource for volunteers, activists and donors looking for new opportunities and projects that, through their innovative nature, ensure the Jewish community remains relevant and thriving. Slingshot has also established a formal process through which to share information about applicants with potential funders. Whether or not an applicant is selected for the guide, as a result of applying, it will become eligible for consideration for funding from organizations and foundations across the country.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of dozens of professionals with expertise in grant-making and Jewish communal life, and organizations will be evaluated on their innovative approach, the impact they have in their work, the leadership they have in their sector, and their effectiveness at achieving results.
The application for Slingshot ’14-’15 can be accessed at www.slingshotfund.org. All organizations must apply online.
