Fox 61’s Rachel Lutzker visited Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Hartford one recent afternoon to film a story on what is now being dubbed as “Thanksgivingkah” – this year’s odd calendar pairing of Thanksgiving and Chanukah. Lower school students (pictured here) demonstrated Chanukah traditions by lighting the menorah, playing dreidel and singing songs. The full story will air as part of a holiday special on FOX 61 News during a morning holiday special on Nov. 29 at 9:30 a.m.
