More than 250 guests – including Senator Richard Blumenthal and Weston First Selectwoman Gayle Weinstein – joined the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Nov. 10 in honoring five Upper Fairfield County community leaders at the organization’s Centennial Gala. ADL presented its Distinguished Community Leadership Award to Holocaust survivor and Westport resident Anita Schorr, Westport residents Julie and Robert Haroun, and Easton couple Bonnie Slyn and David Ball. The honoring of Slyn and Ball marked the first time that ADL has presented its Distinguished Community Leadership Award to recipients from the Eastern Fairfield County community.
