Milton I. Caplan, 80, of Hamden, died Oct. 18. He was the husband of Patricia (Stein) Caplan. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Morris Caplan and Diana (Weissman) Caplan Guttman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Lawrence E. Caplan (Helene); his children, Deborah L. Caplan (John Heine), Mark A. Caplan (Linda) and David O. Caplan (Rose Joseph); and his grandchildren, Deanna Heine, Matthew, Hannah and Leah Caplan, and Jay, Reena and Thea Caplan; and his in-laws, Stanley and Barbara Stein. ROBERT E. SHURE FUNERAL HOME
