Elinor (Silverman) Shlien, 85, of West Hartford, died August 28. She was the widow of Morris Shlien. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Rapps) Silverman. She is survived by her son, Dr. Robert D. Shlien and his wife Emmeline Wexer of Franklin Lakes, N.J.; her grandchildren, Rebecca and Daniel Shlien; her brother, Philip Silverman and his wife Myrna of Pleasantville, N.Y.; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth and Beatrice Shlien. She was predeceased by her daughter Robin Shlien.
