Jewish Film Series set to open in Southbury

SOUTHBURY – The Jewish Film Festival Series, hosted by the Jewish Federation of Western CT, will open on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. with “Koch,” the acclaimed documentary about New York’s popular three-term mayor, Ed Koch. Other films in the series include “The Other Son” on Oct. 27 and “Hava Nagila” and “A Journey of Spirit” on Nov. 17.

All films will be screened at the Heritage Hotel, 522 Heritage Road in Southbury. Filmgoers can enjoy the Heritage Hotel brunch at a special price, which will be offered 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Admission is $18 for the entire film series; $7 per film. Registration is required. Space is limited. For tickets and information call (203) 267-3177 or email rsvp@jfed.net.
