Philip Michael Horwitch, 62, of Freeport, Me., formerly of New Haven, died Sept. 5. He was the husband of Ruth Blackwell Horwitch. Born in Bad Canstatt, Germany, he was the son of Dr. Eugene and Norma Horwitch. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Sarah Horwitch Dailey and her husband Nathaniel, and Jacob Horwitch; his grandchildren, Rayna, Samara, Jane and Malcolm; his brother, Daniel Horwitch; and his sister, Ann Sherer and her husband Eli.
