LIPINER

Abraham “Abe” Lipiner, 94, of West Hartford and Old Lyme, formerly of Pompano Beach, Fla., died July 26. He was the widower of Sarah “Sylvia” Lipiner. Born in Germany, he survived the Holocaust, but lost both parents and all but one sibling, the late Harry Federbush of Montreal, Canada, whom he found after the end of World War II. He is survived by his children, Irene (Kane) Smith and her husband Craig of Newington, and Joseph Lipiner and his wife Susan of West Hartford; his  grandchildren, Felicia and Robin Kane, Jason, Jamie and Robert Lipiner; and his great-grandchild Sam Cook.  HEBREW FUNERAL ASSOCIATION, INC.
