High honors in Fairfield

Congregation Ahavath Achim of Fairfield honored two outstanding congregants at the shul’s gala luncheon on Sunday, June 23. Joseph Macy received the congregation’s Pillar of the Community Award for his many years of devotion, and high school student Evan Risch received the Youth Services Award in recognition of his participation in synagogue activities, especially in the religious services.  Both awardees live in Fairfield.
