As they have for several years, on June 2 members of the Tikun Olam Committee of Congregation Kol Ami in Cheshire gave of their time and energies to help out at Boulder Knoll Farm. In exchange for their work, Kol Ami families received a share of vegetables that they then donated to local soup kitchens and food pantries. In addition to their gardening, this year. Kol Ami children planted string beans and put up some shiny disks to deter deer from feasting on the plants. The adults also did weeding and mulching.
