Arthur S. Rothenberg, 95, of West Hartford, formerly of South Egremont, Mass., and West Hempstead, N.Y., died June 17. He was the husband of Enid Weitz Rothenberg. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. During World War II, in England, he helped to map the invasion of Normandy, after which he was appointed Combat Artist in the Eighth Air Force by General Curtis LeMay. His paintings are now in the archives of the Pentagon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Marna Sag and her husband Jerry of North Wales and Lansdale, Penn., Eric Rothenberg of Needham, Mass., and Dan Rothenberg and his wife Kathy Andrews of West Hartford; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
