Jerome (Jerry) A. Kaplan, 78, of Avon died June 14. He was the husband of Leah (Maskowsky) Kaplan. He was the son of the late Sadie and Morris Kaplan of Kingston, N.Y. He served in the National Guard of New York and as a reserve of the U.S. Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Shelley Nickles and her husband John of Arlington, Va., Robyn Kaplan-Cho and her husband Doug Cho of West Hartford, and Alanna Munoz  and her husband Pablo of Maplewood, N.J.; and his granddaughters, Kealani Nickles, Hannah, Cammie and Grace Cho, and Sadie and Ceci Munoz. He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Kent.
