WEST HARTFORD — More than 100 women listened attentively as Dr. Carol Goodman Kaufman, author of Sins of Omission, discussed domestic abuse in the Jewish community at a joint meeting of the Greater Hartford Chapters of Hadassah and Jewish Women International (JWI) at Beth El Temple in West Hartford on May 7. Kaufman discussed her research on domestic violence and described Hadassah and JWI’s response to this pressing societal issue.
