For her bat mitzvah project, Jessica Nathan of West Hartford is working at Hebrew Health Care on an intergenerational greenhouse project that has earned her a new friend – HHC resident Teddy Manheim, who, as an avid gardener, is helping Jessica. This project is especially meaningful both to Jessica and Hebrew Health Care: Her great-grandfather, Dr. Morris “Moe” Nathan, established Hebrew Health Care’s greenhouse and took care of the vegetation for many years.
