U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal was among the 215 guests who turned out at Temple Beth El in Stamford on Sunday, April 21 to honor Laurence Sheinman of Wilton, and Rhonda Ginsberg and Rebecca Isenstein, both of Stamford, for their many years of volunteer service to the community. The three Fairfield County residents were presented with 2013 Mitzvah Awards by the Jewish Family Service (JFS) serving Westport, Weston, Wilton, Norwalk and Stamford.  The evening, which included an auction, raised funds to help JFS provide vital emergency funds to families in need.
