Dr. Harold S. Safalow of West Hartford and Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. died April 20. He was the husband of Dorothy (Novak) Safalow and the late Marcia (Eskowitz) Safalow. He was the son of the late Anna (Zeisel) and David Safalow of Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. He served in the U.S. Army 320th General Hospital Unit as a Specialist 4th Class Mash Unit out of Fort Sam Houston during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Adam Safalow of New Britain, and Mark Safalow of Rocky Hill; two grandsons; his brother, Arthur Safalow and his wife Linda of Syosset, N.Y. and Southold, N.Y.; and his aunts, Priscilla Oberman of Sunrise, Fla. and Martha Zeisel of Bay Harbor, Fla. He was also predeceased by his uncles, Irving Oberman and Larry Zeisel, and his aunt and uncle, Pauline and William Young, all of Florida.
