Gertrude Treidel, 87, of Fairfield, died March 21. She was the wife of the late Eric Treidel. Born in Peekskill, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William Chait and Fannie (Levinton) Chait. She is survived by her children, Al and Ann Treidel of Fairfield, Bruce and Dana Treidel of New Fairfield, and Lisa and Keith Levinson of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Robin Treidel, Lauren Treidel, Mindy and Jeff Rockower, Rebecca Treidel, Sarah Treidel, Daniel Levinson, Nicole Levinson; and her great-granddaughter Arianna Rockower.
