Malcolm Shoor Roth, 80, of West Hartford died March 18. He was the husband of Barbara. Born in Hartford he was the son of Frank E. Roth, M.D. and Alice Shoor Roth. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Robert Roth and Katie Thomason, Julianne Roth and Frank Day, and Steven Roth and his wife Lori; his grandchildren, Alexander Roth, Nicole Roth, Nolan Thompson, Samuel Steinberg, Charles Steinberg, Jacob Roth and Emily Roth; his step-children Candice Savin and her husband Daniel Gross, and Robert Savin and his wife Cristina; and by his step-grandchildren Aliza Gross and Ethan Gross. He was predeceased by his sister, Jacqueline Kane, and by his stepdaughter, Tara Savin.
