Helen (Sodafsky) Mehlman, 93, died March 17.  She was the wife of the late Bernard Mehlman. Born in Vernon and raised in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Sarah and Nathan Sodafsky. She is survived by her children, Linda (Mehlman) Schwartz, of Huntington, N.Y., and Peter Mehlman and his wife Debbie of West Hartford; her grandchildren, Meredith (Brian) Siegel, of Charlotte, N.C., Dina Schwartz of Syracuse, N.Y., and Rebecca Mehlman of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and her great-grandchildren, Madeline and Jacob Siegel. She was also predeceased by her sisters Lillian, Jessie, and Miriam, and son-in-law, Joel Schwartz.
